    2018 oil on masonite panel, with applied pieces of copper leaf. Measures 8" by 8", with the painting's back featuring my thumbprint in oil. 
     
    This painting is 2 of 2 in a series. I created this while brainstorming how to create the background for my larger painting "'Auana: Our Past is an Illuminated Present". Made with the same materials and copper leaf that I used there, this painting features a horizontal orientation and a slightly darker pink tone and more heavy pink paint than the "Vertical" version.
