WOODEN CUT-OUT OF AMERICA'S FAVORITE CLINTON

Measuring 18" X 24", this oil on canvas painting depicts Socks, President Clinton's former pet, as a flat, wooden cut-out leaning against a darkened background. Painted in 2016 during the presidential election, this work intended to portray the growing dislike for the former first family in a more positive outlook by portraying lovable Socks front and center as the most liked member of the Clinton family. The photograph of the Clinton family depicted in the top right-hand corner shows them laughing, presumably at the concept.
