Vertically, this double-image painting depicts a woman's crying face as her hair whips in the wind. Thick and smudged brush strokes shape the woman's features in a way that gives the image a wispy, dreamy, quality.

Horizontally, this picture transforms into a cloudy landscape, wherein a cliff appears above waves crashing on a lonely beach. Purple paint that helped frame the woman's face, now appear as clouds enveloping the cliff head. The blue strands of hair now show up as streams of water pounding against the cliff rocks. A solitary cross stands vigil on the edge.
